MyWasteBid is a free, private bidding marketplace where businesses that generate hazardous, medical, universal, and special waste get competing bids from verified local and regional disposal vendors. It was started by experienced EHS and waste industry professionals who got tired of watching good vendors disappear and prices go unchallenged.
Fewer names to call.
Across the country, a handful of national companies keep buying up local and regional disposal vendors. Every acquisition can mean one less independent name on the list.
Nobody asks for a second price.
Generators end up paying the same provider for years. Contracts roll over. Small generators feel locked in, because getting three quotes means a week of phone calls and three formats you cannot compare.
The good vendors cannot find the work.
Independent and regional vendors often have better rates and closer service. They struggle to reach buyers who are not shopping.
We challenge the process, not the people.
Plenty of large disposal companies do good work. This is not about villains. It is about a market that stopped competing, and the fix is simple: put the work back out to bid and let qualified vendors compete on price, capability, compliance, and service.
And then make less of it.

What we do, and what we don't.
What we do
- Connect businesses that generate waste with verified transporters and disposal facilities near them.
- Review vendors' permits, registrations, and insurance before they can bid, and keep tracking expiration dates.
- Host the bids, line them up for comparison, and keep the job record from award to final amount.
- Check that the amount paid matches what was quoted, and help both sides when it does not.
What we don’t
- We do not transport, store, treat, or dispose of waste, and we never take possession of it.
- We do not classify waste or sign manifests. The generator describes its waste and keeps responsibility for it; vendors and labs confirm it.
- We do not handle payments between generators and vendors.
Who we are
MyWasteBid was founded by experienced EHS and waste industry professionals, people who have signed the manifests, walked the accumulation areas, and sat across the table from the vendors.
