Private bidding for waste disposal

Put your waste out to bid.

MyWasteBid is a free, private bidding marketplace where businesses that generate hazardous, medical, universal, and special waste get competing bids from verified local and regional disposal vendors. Post what you need picked up, compare hazardous waste disposal quotes side by side, and award the one that fits.

When did you last get a second quote?

You have been paying the same company to take your waste for years. When did you last ask someone else what they would charge?

Across the country, a handful of national companies keep buying up local and regional disposal vendors. Fewer independent names are left to call, and contracts roll over without anyone asking for a second price. Plenty of those providers do good work. The problem is the process: when nobody has to compete for the work, nobody has to sharpen the pencil.

MyWasteBid puts the work back out to bid. Qualified vendors compete on price, capability, compliance, and service. You pick.

How do you compare hazardous waste disposal companies?

Post one request, get competing bids from verified vendors near you, and compare them line by line in one table. No phone tag, no quotes in five different formats.

  1. 01

    Post

Pick your waste profiles, count the containers, and set a pickup window. Your company name stays hidden from vendors until you award.

  2. 02

    Compare

Bids line up line by line, with each vendor's distance, ratings, record of paid-as-quoted, and flags for exclusions or facilities you did not approve. Close bidding early when you have what you need.

  3. 03

    Award and track

Award one bid, or none. Follow the job through pickup, the signed manifest, and the certificate of disposal, then confirm that what you paid matches what you were quoted.

For vendors

Join the provider network.

Independent and regional disposal companies get matched to real jobs in their service area, for waste they are permitted to handle. Your name and line prices stay private from other vendors, so you win on price and service, not on the size of your sales team.

  • Leads matched to your service area, permits, and the waste you accept
  • Bids drafted from your own rate card
  • A paid-as-quoted record that follows you from job to job

Waste minimization

We don’t just find a cheaper way to dispose of waste. We help you create less of it.

You pay for the absorbents. Then you pay someone to haul them away. Your request history shows where the drums come from, and MyWasteBid points out streams worth a second look, with plain-language articles on what other shops have tried.

Parts-washer solvent: 14 drums this year

An on-site solvent recycler or an aqueous washer may shrink this stream. Results depend on your process.

Fluorescent lamps: 9 boxes this year

An LED retrofit removes the stream as fixtures are replaced.

We back the people who build America.

Plants, shops, warehouses, and clinics run on thin margins. Every dollar that does not go to hauling can go to payroll, equipment, or the next shift.

Why we built MyWasteBid

Questions generators ask

How much does hazardous waste disposal cost?
It depends on the waste type, how much you have, how it is packaged, and how far it travels to a permitted facility. A drum of spent solvent, a box of lamps, and a tub of sharps are priced very differently. The only reliable number is a real quote, which is why MyWasteBid gets you several competing bids on the same request.
Is MyWasteBid free for businesses that generate waste?
Yes. Generators never pay to post requests, compare bids, or keep their records on MyWasteBid. You pay only the vendor you choose, directly, for the work.
What types of waste can I get quotes for?
Hazardous waste, universal waste such as lamps and batteries, used oil and oil filters, regulated medical waste and sharps, pharmaceuticals, special waste such as asbestos, and non-hazardous industrial waste. Vendors only see requests for waste they are permitted to handle.
How are vendors verified?
A person on our team reviews each vendor's credentials before it can bid, including its EPA ID number, DOT and hazmat registrations, permits, and certificates of insurance with pollution liability. We track expiration dates, and a vendor cannot bid while a required credential has lapsed.
Can other vendors see my request or the bids?
Vendors see your industry, general location, and waste details, but not your company name or address until you award the job. Vendors never see each other's names. Vendors who have already bid may see the other bids' totals, without names, so they can sharpen their price before bidding closes.
Who is responsible for my waste?
You are, as the generator, and that does not change when you use MyWasteBid. We do not transport, store, treat, or dispose of waste, and we do not classify it or sign manifests. We keep the record of the job so you can show how your waste was handled.
Do I pay the vendor through MyWasteBid?
No. You pay the vendor directly, the way you do today. We record the quoted and final amounts so both sides can see whether they match.
Do I have to award a bid?
No. If no bid fits, award none. There is no charge and no obligation either way.

Less waste.
Less cost.
More profit.
